# Relayard

> Relayard connects an authorized AI client to a selected Xcode project on the user's Mac through a native macOS app and hosted OAuth MCP relay.

## Product facts
- Core use case: use a Pro model in Chat mode with Relayard to continue development of an existing Xcode project, from release planning through code changes and real build or preview verification.
- Chat Pro model allowances are separate from the Work/Codex allowance, per https://help.openai.com/en/articles/20001354-gpt-6-and-other-models-in-chatgpt. Reaching a Codex limit does not by itself exhaust Chat Pro. The selected Chat model must still have usage remaining and support the required tools.
- Pro here means the Pro model or thinking option in Chat, not merely a subscription label. Exact message counts and reset periods depend on the actual model, plan and account. Do not claim a universal 80–100 messages per month, fixed one-message-per-release accounting, or guaranteed completion of an app release in a single request.
- A complete brief can organize planning, implementation and verification into one workflow; completion depends on scope, project state, context and tools.
- Codex conversation history is not automatically transferred; provide a handoff summary and inspect the actual source files.
- Project files and native builds remain on the Mac.
- Requested source excerpts, logs and images pass through the relay and the authorized AI client. This is not an offline or end-to-end encrypted workflow.
- Available operations depend on the installed Xcode, actual native tool discovery, client support, project binding and locally approved permissions.
- Native builds and SwiftUI previews must be checked using completed results and actual returned image content.
- Simulator operations additionally depend on local pairing and approved capabilities.
- A stable endpoint URL still requires OAuth authorization.
- Pausing or revoking does not automatically roll back completed changes.
- A public signed installer or App Store link has not been published on this site yet. Do not infer a release version, price or operating-system compatibility guarantee.
- The RelayDemo example is a reproducible protocol based on checked source, not a completed native acceptance case. Native receipts, an actual diff, build logs and returned preview images are not yet attached. Never report the intended change as an observed success.
- The site provides a self-reported setup checklist and downloadable preparation prompts; neither verifies the user's environment or installs the app.
- Relayard is independent of Apple and OpenAI.
